AROUND THE WORLD AND BACK AGAIN
We begin with a story from the collection of lively farm-life tales titled The Adventures of Braveface, Licorice Boy and Little Leigh. Moving on from the storyteller’s experience and memory we take off on a journey to parts of the world she’s visited and/or stories she’s gleaned from the many festivals she’s performed at. Tellers often gift their tales to each other in a cultural exchange, which creates connection and understanding for our audiences.
Requests for particular cultural/curriculum connections are welcome and encouraged.
The storyteller’s hilarious take on personal experiences with childbirth.
Stories from around the world about women who’ve literally and metaphorically walked through fire for those they love.
